Please share if you use a dedicated yet portable landing pad and include the following please. I will periodically tally the comments and create a summary for all to use. How big is it? What color is it? what is it made of? do you have any shapes on it to aid in the auto / go home landings? what sort of accuracy do you get? Please include a photo.
Ordered a set of tires awhile back and they came with cardboard spacers in between. Still working on it, painted flat black now not sure what else yet probably some white or yellow for the center target.
I have one of these. Helps in loose gravel, dirt, snow, sand. It's 43" in diameter. Plenty big for the X Star. I got it solely for the fact that it will help keep small debris from blowing around and getting near the motors. Plus, it's kind of cool. Comes with plastic stakes to lock it down to the ground and a carry case. I have not needed the stakes, it stays pretty planted and doesn't move even when landing. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LW0AFNE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I got this off Amazon...30inches in diameter. Biggg-D DRONE LANDING PAD: Large Light Weight 30 inches https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MDKKMHR/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_1GYSyb7A1G17P Sent from my SM-G935T using Tapatalk
I recently got this from Carolina Dronz. It's 24 inches in diameter and I like it because it's heavy so it works well in grass and won't blow away or up. https://carolinadronz.com/products/carolina-dronz-landing-pad
