Letter from MasterAirScrew re: Autel props

  1. Today, I received the following letter from Master AirScrew. Such a letter and acknowledgement from any company is indicative of a company who is honest and who strives to provide their customers with top-notch services and products.


    Dear Customers,

    I would like to personally thank you for choosing Master Airscrew as your preferred propeller brand.


    Although we strive to provide you with the best quality propellers, I regret to announce that for a short period of time, some of our propeller upgrade packs for Autel X-star drone may have contained defective propellers. The problem is easily noticable and is due to defective prop nuts with shorter threaded orifice. As a result the propeller might not be able to fully tighten to the motor shaft and may cause slight wobble on the prop.


    The problem was resolved on 10th of Feb with implementation of improved quality control process and changing our supplier of aluminum parts.


    Although we have reacted almost immediately solving this issue, it seems that a number of our customers have received defective Autel X-star props. In this connection I would like to announce a replacement campaign for all Autel props purchased in between December 2017 to February 2018 suffering from this issue. The props will be replaced free of charge. The campaign will be open till 30th of April.

  2. I bought mine in late August early September 2017, guess I'm out.
     
  3. You aren't out. Everyone can take advantage of the discount offer which runs though the end of April. Just go to the M.A. website, and order the props. Then, as you are checking out, enter AutelX where it says 'Discounts'. The price will then be changed to $8.64 for a set of props.
     
  4. I'm talking about the free of charge replacement for defective props not discount offers, there not getting any more of my money so yeah I guess I'm out.
     
  5. I would bet that, if you call them, they'll replace any defective props you previously purchased from them. It's not right to say that they won't replace the props until you've given it a try. The tone of their letter says that they are very customer oriented.
     
  6. I'd say that's a good bet. They replaced my set for no charge and even sent me an extra set. I've had nothing but good experiences with their customer service. I can't recall the lady's name but, she was very nice and very helpful.

    Oh! I purchased my first two sets (with bad hub nuts) in October 2017.
     
  7. I got my MAS props today and they are perfect. They are a good company to do business with!
