MP4 Question for Computer Gurus

  1. I'm wonder why an old (ancient!) computer running Windows XP can't see the MP4's saved by the X-Star. I take the card from the drone, put it in an USB adaptor, and plug that into the computer. No files show up in the Windows Explorer. The same configuration plugged into my Windows 10 computer sees everything that's there. I have to copy the files to a USB drive and then the XP computer can see them perfectly. The X-Star is the only drone I have that does this. Cards from the other drones read normally in the XP computer. These are only MP4 files so why can't the XP see them coming from the X-Star?
  2. It most likely is not the fact that these are MP4 files, but that the SD card was most likely formatted as exFAT. Windows XP initially did not support exFAT, but Microsoft (KB955704) update corrected this. This update may no longer be available. Good luck hunting for it.
  3. That's what I was thinking it was. The card was formatted on the X-Star through the StarLink app. Thanks!
