Recording 'habit' of XSP

Discussion in 'X-Star / X-Star Premium' started by bjtap, Jul 11, 2017.

  1. Does the X-Star Premium automatically stop recording when it has landed and/or the props are stopped?
    Thanks in advance. Barry

  2. To my knowledgeable the only auto stop is when it loses power.

  3. Not to my knowledge. I actually damaged a video file once because I landed the drone and then removed the battery after forgetting to stop the recording. Even with video recovery software, I was unable to salvage the damaged video file.

  4. Thanks for the info and warning. So it appears my missing video was a user error in that I apparently don't remember stopping the recording after I landed the drone the first time. To be 'consistent' I did turn it on (when I thought I was turning it off), and got fantastic video of my feet walking to the car instead of the second flight. This has taught me to include watching the recording timer count down! (BTW: There was no battery change involved).
