I used the free GoPro software at first. Now I bought IMovie for my MacBook pro. More feature rich. There are some really nice ones out there, but I wanted to start out cheap
Try Davinci Resolve : https://www.blackmagicdesign.com/products/davinciresolve the bottom left option for version 12.5.5 when you click the download button and then popup window appears is the one you want. It's free and others are saying it rivals Premiere Pro in some ways. I used Power Director which was paid software but the layout was kind of tacky. To each their own.
Currently using Wondershare Filmora, paid version, and I like the flexibility. Not bad for a mid-priced editing suite.
I tried loading the Blackmagic program. It then told me to load Cuda. Then neither worked. I'll try Ryan's Wondershare solution. Thanks guys.
I just posted a couple of videos I used Filmora to edit. Once I got used to the interface, the learning curve flattened a lot. Upgrading to the paid version removes the watermark and opens up more options. https://autelforums.com/threads/a-couple-of-recent-videos-abandoned-structures.556/ --Ryan
I use CyberLink PowerDirector 15 and to record my tablet screen I use DU Recorder from the Play Store.
